A house maid turned wife to Mr. Peter Ssematimba has accused the former Busiro South Member of Parliament of being a womanizer and using his house as a lodge.

Ms. Joan Namatovu (pictured above) 32, brought the accusations after Ssematimba sued her for a child protection plaint of the daughter they had during a ten year old love affair.

In a suit filed by M/S Mudawa and Kyogula Advocates on behalf of Ssematimba in the probation court, he accuses Namatovu of irresponsible behavior including vacating a Namasuba rental Ssematimba was paying for her and removing the daughter from expensive schools where he wants their daughter to attend academics.

“She has failed to take proper responsibility for our daughter, and I want to take direct responsibility of the girl” Ssematimba said in his affidavit.

Namatovu is a resident of Lungujja. She told Bukedde TV gossip segment on Monday Morning that she was worried about whether court would be fair to her given the power wielded by Ssematimba.

“These issues started in 2020 and I reported to former State minister for Gender Nakiwala. We were supposed to meet there with Ssematimba to sort our grievances but he refused and it seemed to me he was the one giving them directives,” Namatovu said.

She added that given that background, she was worried whether she would make it in court. The case starts on June 29th.

Ssematimba is presenter at his Super FM Radio.

Wash my back

Namatovu says she was brought to the house of Mr. Ssematimba in Lubaga in 2005. She claims she came to replace another maid who had also turned into the wife of Ssematimba.

“One day he was naked bathing when he called me to wash his back. I reluctantly accepted and that was the beginning of our love later resulting into a baby girl,” Namatovu said

But in 2020, the love affair ended and conflicts arose and Ssematimba took the daughter.

Namatovu said that she does not want Ssematimba to retain the girl because she will learn his father’s manners.

“The home has no wife to cater for daughter and he uses the house as a love. Woman after woman come in and leave any time of the day,” Namatovu claimed.
